Hylo Night eye ointment for dry eyes
Do you wake up in the morning with dry or sticky eyes, or crusty eyes? That's no coincidence. During sleep, your natural tear production almost completely stops. Especially if you already suffer from dry eyes, this can cause additional irritation. Eyelids can stick together, and dried tears can form crusts. Rubbing your eyes can irritate the cornea (the transparent layer over your eye) and the conjunctiva (the mucous membrane lining your eyelids).
Hylo Night has been specially developed to protect, nourish and support the recovery of your eyes at night.
How does it work?
Hylo Night eye ointment prevents the surface of the eye from drying out. This gentle ointment with vitamin A nourishes the cornea and conjunctiva, as well as the eyelid margins, and stabilizes the tear film overnight. This prevents eye stickiness and crust formation, making it ideal for healing stressed tissue without complications. This ointment is suitable for anyone suffering from dry eyes, regardless of the severity.
The ointment:

Vitamin A is a naturally occurring component of the tear film. Therefore, Hylo Night is generally well tolerated and mixes well with existing tear fluid.
No preservatives and no phosphates
Due to its high viscosity, ophthalmic ointment remains on the eye's surface much longer than liquid eye drops. Therefore, when using ophthalmic ointment preparations, care must be taken to ensure they do not contain harmful substances such as preservatives or phosphates. Due to their longer duration of action, the damage caused by these components of ophthalmic ointment can be more severe than with eye drops. Hylo Night ophthalmic ointment does not contain preservatives or phosphates. The risk associated with damaging the cornea and conjunctiva is therefore permanently eliminated.

Hylo Night eye ointment has a greasy consistency and stays on the eye longer than eye drops. This provides long-lasting protection, but may temporarily blur your vision. Therefore, it's recommended to apply the eye ointment just before bed. This provides intensive protection for your eyes overnight and prevents difficulty opening them in the morning.
The dosage and frequency of use depend on your personal preference. Hylo Night can be used in combination with other eye lubricating eye drops and is used once a day just before bedtime.
- Unscrew the cap, tilt your head slightly back and pull your lower eyelid down slightly with your finger.
- Avoid direct contact between the opening of the tube and the eye or surrounding skin.
- With your other hand, hold the tube vertically above your eye. Apply a small amount of ointment in the space between your eye and eyelid by gently squeezing the tube.
- Close your eyelids slowly and then blink.
- Make sure you close the tube properly after use.
Do not use the eye ointment at the same time as other eye drops or ointments. If this is necessary,
Hylo Night eye ointment should be administered approximately 30 minutes after administration of the ophthalmic product.
