BAP Medical BV, the owner of this website, takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. In this privacy policy, we describe what data we process, what we do with that data and why we process it.

BAP Medical B.V. (hereinafter: BAP Medical) develops, manufactures and sells medical solutions for skin conditions. We are a supplier of medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements. We supply various brands for which we are responsible. This privacy and cookie policy therefore applies not only to our own website and services, but also to the websites and services of our brands.
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to BAP Medical. We therefore comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR). This means that we:
- Clearly set out our purposes before we process your personal data. We do this via this privacy and cookie policy.
- Store as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our legitimate purposes.
- Seek explicit consent for the processing of your personal data, where consent is required.
- Take the necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties that process personal data on our behalf.
- Respect your rights, such as the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data processed by us.
For what purposes do we use your personal data?
In this privacy and cookie policy, we explain what we do with the information we obtain about you in relation to the aforementioned services and web pages of BAP Medical and its brands. By using one of our services, we obtain various items of personal data from you.
When you open the cookie notice on our website and click on ‘services’, details are provided for each service regarding what personal data we collect from you, the purpose for which this is done, the legal basis we rely on, and how long we retain the data.
Below is a general overview of how we use this customer data. If you have any questions, or would like to know exactly what data we hold about you, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this statement.
Contact, information, quotations and customer service
When you send us an email, submit a completed contact form (such as to request further information, a quotation, or to make an enquiry or complaint), call our customer service team or contact us in any other way, you are accepting our offer to get in touch with us. We will use such messages, which contain your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message (including any business information if you are contacting us for business purposes), to respond to your request or enquiry. We will retain your data for as long as we deem necessary for the purposes of this contact.
Delivery & services via the online shop
Among other things, we supply products which you can order directly, without a prescription, via one of our online shops. In order to supply you with the products you have requested and to fulfil the contract with you, we use your (company) name, address, telephone number and email address. Our delivery partner will then deliver the products to your home free of charge. On these websites, it is also possible to create an account. This allows you, amongst other things, to check out more quickly, view and manage your personal data, and track orders. We retain this data until you close your account, with the exception of your billing details (see below).
When you make a payment, we may receive payment details from your bank or credit card company, which we pass on to our payment partners. We retain your billing details for seven years, and in some cases for 10 years, in accordance with statutory tax retention requirements.
Email marketing
If you would like to stay informed about new developments, special products, events and offers, you can subscribe to our newsletter. For this purpose, we record your gender, name and email address. In every newsletter you receive, you can unsubscribe via a link in the email.
In addition, we may send you emails relating to an order or a form or enquiry you have submitted. We use these emails solely to fulfil your order, process your enquiry or provide you with information regarding these matters.
Reviews
If you have purchased a product from one of our online shops, we may ask you to write a review about our company and/or the products you have purchased. This enables us to assess satisfaction with our products and helps other customers make their choice. For this purpose, we use your name, review and email address.
Analysis, profiling and advertising
When you visit our websites, we may collect and analyse data about you and (only with your prior consent) combine this with your customer data so that we can create a customer profile. We categorise these customer profiles into a number of categories to analyse your interests and further personalise the content we offer you, including by displaying personalised adverts.
To analyse website usage and optimise our services, we use various tools and platforms, depending on your cookie preferences.
- For analysis, website statistics and analysis of visitor behaviour, we use, amongst others, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. This enables us to gain insight into how visitors use our website and navigate through it.
- For advertising and conversion tracking, we work with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Beslist, amongst others, to display adverts and measure their effectiveness. When you place an order and have given your consent to marketing cookies, we share personal data with advertisers for conversion tracking (Enhanced Conversions). This data is encrypted (hashed), which means it is converted into an unreadable code.
- Through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, we can display targeted adverts and measure the results of our campaigns.
Data is shared in accordance with the cookie preferences you have selected. You can adjust these at any time via our cookie banner. How is your personal data protected?
BAP Medical takes appropriate technical and organisational measures in relation to the processing of personal data to prevent loss or any form of unlawful processing (such as unauthorised access, damage, alteration or disclosure of personal data).
When may we share your personal data with third parties?
BAP Medical only shares your data with third parties where this is permitted under current legislation. This means that we have a legal basis for doing so or that we engage the third party as a supplier. The parties that process personal data on our behalf or on yours are:
- Billing parties, such as pharmacies or specialist medical shops.
- IT suppliers and service providers
- Parcel delivery services
- Payment service providers
- Cookie providers
- Telecoms providers
- Engaged consultants and intermediaries
- Online platforms which we use to support our services
We only transfer your personal data to third countries (countries located outside the European Union) where appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data.

On our websites, we use our own cookies and those of third parties. In principle, we will comply with your request within 30 days. However, this period may be extended for reasons relating to the specific privacy rights or the complexity of the request. If we extend this period, we will inform you in good time.
