The DermaSilk Bandage Hat is made of 100% natural silk. The substance is pH neutral and does not contain sericin. It prevents irritation and has an antibacterial effect. The hat can be worn both during the day and at night.
The bandage cap is part of the DermaSilk Medical bandage clothing line for babies. The hat is specially designed to respect and support the delicate balance of the scalp.
DermaSilk Medical Bandages relieve skin complaints, such as itching, irritation and infections. The substance helps the skin recover. It is effective for various conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Fit and sizes
The silk bandage hat is made with a special weaving technique. This makes the hat stretchable in width and length. It fits well on the skin, but does not feel uncomfortable when worn. The hat can be worn during the day and at night. Can also be used under a postoperative helmet.
The DermaSilk bandage cap is available in three sizes:
- 62-68 circumference skull 36-41 cm

Wear and wash
The antibacterial substance of the bandage cap only works with direct contact with the skin, but can be worn in combination with medical (eczema) ointment or cream. Let this soak in for a while before putting on the hat.
The substance has been specially developed to irritate the skin as little as possible, but this makes the substance vulnerable. Therefore, the hat must be handled and washed more carefully than normal clothing. Follow the instructions for use carefully.
Washing instructions
- By hand or machine: wool or silk program, 30 ° C.
- Use a mild shampoo or neutral detergent.
- Hand wash: rinse well with water after washing.
- Machine: wash in a separate net.
- No fabric softener, chlorine or bleach
- Allow to air dry
What is NOT allowed:
- Can be hung in the dryer or over a heat source such as a radiator
- Do not iron (not necessary)
